ในแผนที่ขนาดใหญ่กว่า By CarTake Phuttamonton Road (Nakorn Pathom - Phetburi), or Thonburi - Pak Tor route (high - way 35), then get into highway 4 (Phetkasaem Road) at around Pak Tor Intersection. Pass Phetburi and Phrachuab Khiri Khan until you reach Pathomphon Intersection. Turn left into Chumphon Town along highway 4001, you will find Tha Yang Port and Ao Makham Noi Port. You can park the car there (car-care service available) and get the boat to Koh Tao.
By Bus
From Southern Bus Terminal, there are air-conditioned buses from Bangkok to Chumphon everyday. The journey takes around 7 hours. Then continue with minibus, or the transportation of the boat companies, to the port.
By Train
There are trains from Bangkok to Chumphon everyday, and the journey takes around 8 hours.
